“The GWO REcognition Program enables college wind energy programs to undergo a structured gap analysis against applicable GWO training standards, such as Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART).
As part of the process, the college’s program is evaluated for alignment with GWO standards, and any identified gaps are addressed through supplemental training provided by the REcognition provider.
Upon successful completion of the program and any required gap training, students are awarded official GWO certificates via the WINDA system—enhancing their qualifications for careers in the global wind energy industry.
